Dentro de los trastornos que afectan al lenguaje y que ha causado mayor interés en los últimos tiempos es el Trastorno Específico del Lenguaje (tEL). Por esta razón, el objetivo del presente estudio es comparar y correlacionar el desempeño de los subcomponentes de la memoria operativa (MO) en niños(as) de 6 a 6 años 11 meses con tEL tipo mixto y con desarrollo típico del lenguaje. Para evaluar los subcomponentes de la MO se aplicó el test Illinois de Aptitudes Psicolingüísticas (ItPA), del cual se consideraron sólo 3 de sus subpruebas. Los resultados indican que los niños(as) con tEL tipo mixto presentan un bajo desempeño en las sub-pruebas que se relacionan con los tres componentes: bucle fonológico, agenda visoespacial y ejecutivo central. Mientras que los niños con desarrollo normal típico presentan un buen desempeño en las tres sub-pruebas. | |

Within the disorders that affect language, Specific Language Disorder has caused more interest nowadays. For this reason, the objective of this study is compared and correlated the performance of the subcomponents of the working memory between children from 6 to 6 years 11 months affected with TEL and with a normal language development. The test used to evaluate the working memory was Test Illinois de Aptitudes Psicolingüísticas (ITPA) and it was considered 3 of their sub-tests which were related to the subcomponents of the working memory. The results of the study indicated that the group of children with TEL obtained decreased results in the sub-tests related to phonological loop, visual-spatial agenda and central executive, while normal language developing children obtained good results in the three sub-tests. | |
